Terms and conditions

These Terms and Conditions constitute a legally binding agreement between you (the user) and Pelea ApS (CVR no. 44703122), which operates the Pelea platform (hereinafter "Pelea" or the "Platform"). By creating an account, you agree to be bound by these Terms as well as our Privacy Policy.

Pelea ApS is a Danish company licensed by the Danish Gambling Authority (Spillemyndigheden) to offer betting. We operate a peer-to-peer platform where users compete against each other. We act as host provider and facilitator; we do not play against you and do not take a position in the bets.

We may update these Terms on an ongoing basis. Material changes will be communicated via email or in the app. Continued use constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

4.1. Age and identity: You must be at least 18 years old. Registration and login must take place via MitID.

4.2. Residence and location: You must be resident in Denmark. You agree that the app checks that you are located in Denmark, via your device's GPS, VPN detection and your IP address, when you open and use the app.

4.3. ROFUS: You must not be registered in the Register of Voluntarily Excluded Players (ROFUS). We carry out a mandatory lookup in ROFUS at every login. If you are registered, access will be denied.

4.4. One account: Only one account per person is permitted.

In order to comply with the Danish Anti-Money Laundering Act, all users must be verified. This takes place primarily via MitID, but we reserve the right to require additional documentation (passport, proof of address) in the event of suspected fraud or for larger transactions. Withdrawals may be withheld until verification has been completed.

6.1. Deposits: Made via approved payment providers in DKK.

6.2. Withdrawals: Withdrawals are processed once the account is fully verified. Withdrawals are made as quickly as possible and will usually take 1-2 days, but due to statutory controls against money laundering and fraud, the withdrawal time may be up to 20 days.

6.3. Fees: Pelea charges a fee (commission) for facilitating the bets, which is shown when creating or joining a "Game Card".

7.1. Binding agreement: Once a bet has been confirmed, it is binding and cannot be cancelled.

7.2. Settlement: Takes place based on official sports results. In the event of obvious errors (technical errors, etc.), Pelea reserves the right to cancel the bet and refund the stake.

8.1. It is strictly prohibited to:

• Use bots or automated scripts.
• Collude with other players to manipulate pools.
• Exploit insider information or technical errors.
• Share your account with others.
• Take part in or contribute to match-fixing, including influencing or attempting to influence the course or result of a match or of an event in a match.
• Play on a match if you or your close relatives take part in the match as a player, coach, referee, official, technical or medical staff, agent or in the management of a participating club.

Violation results in immediate account closure and forfeiture of winnings.

8.2. Game Creators: If you create games, questions or live bets for your community, you may not do so on matches in which a club where you or your close relatives have a role is taking part.

8.3. Owners, staff and other covered persons: The following persons may not take part in paid games, live bets, series or Pelea Quick at Pelea:

• Beneficial owners and the management of Pelea.
• Anyone who, whatever their form of engagement, has administrative access to Pelea's back office or production data.
• Anyone who creates or settles Pelea's official games, questions or live bets.
• Close relatives of the persons listed, meaning spouse or cohabiting partner, children, parents and siblings.

Taking part in free games without a stake is allowed. A breach results in the account being closed for paid participation, and winnings from such participation are forfeited.

8.4. Our rights: If we know of or suspect match-fixing or any other breach of this section, Pelea may refuse stakes, cancel games and live bets with a refund of the stake, withhold winnings while the matter is investigated (section 12 of the Danish executive order on the prevention of match-fixing), forfeit winnings and close the account.

8.5. Reporting to the Danish Gambling Authority: Pelea is required to notify the Danish Gambling Authority (Spillemyndigheden) of any knowledge, suspicion or reasonable grounds to suspect match-fixing, and to disclose information about games and players to the Authority. The rights to information and access under Articles 13-15 of the GDPR do not apply to information disclosed to the Authority in this context (section 12(3) of the Danish Gambling Act).

Pelea supports responsible gambling. You can set deposit limits and use self-exclusion in the app. We also refer to StopSpillet.dk and the option to register at ROFUS.nu. Read more on our page about responsible gambling.

All content in the app, including name, logo and software, belongs to Pelea ApS. Commercial exploitation without permission is prohibited.

Pelea settles Danish gambling duty on the bets offered. For Game Creators (influencers), any commission earned is reported as B-income to the Danish Tax Agency (Skattestyrelsen) in accordance with applicable legislation.

Pelea is provided "as is". We are not liable for losses arising from technical failures, disruptions to internet connectivity, or errors in data from third-party providers of sports results.

We may close your account if you breach these terms, in the event of suspected money laundering or match-fixing, or if required to do so by the authorities. Upon closure, any remaining balance will be paid out within 5 business days, unless the funds are frozen or withheld due to suspicion of fraud, money laundering or match-fixing.

The agreement is governed by Danish law, and disputes shall be resolved by the Danish courts.
